What it takes to become an Illuminite

All Illuminites begin with the same four week intensive training program. during this period they will master Etiquette & Protocol, Customer Service, Concierge Techniques, Conflict Resolution, Anatomy, Operational Knowledge, Product Knowledge & Visual Merchandising. Upon successful completion of the training they will then specialise in 1 of the 4 categories listed below.

  • Concierge

    The Concierge team is the front line of Illuminoria. The Illuminite Concierge is immaculately presented, well versed in all the products in our range, eager to please and continually learning.

    At any point they are happy to utilise their hospitality skills to provide an unforgettable customer experience.

  • Artificer

    Artificers are the backbone of Illuminoria. These magnificent individuals translate the often fanciful or radical ideas of Artizans to create functional, tangible products.

    Artificers are methodical and thorough, specialising in only a few areas while taking the time to truly perfect their craft.

  • Artisan

    Artisans are responsible for the creation of new products. For those who possess the ability, we actively encourage the use of Dyslexic or Autistic thinking, in order to produce truly original ideas. Illumninite Artisan's are free spirited and creative, but must also possesses (or learn) the ability to follow rules.

  • Queenager

    Queenager is an affectionate term used to describe retired pre-Gen X Illuminites, who are employed in 1 of 2 positions. Mentors come equipped with Industry knowledge while Interns come equipped with life experience. Queenagers are encouraged to share their knowledge while also learning our methods.
